The Untold Festival will have, for the first time in Europe, a sensory room, where children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders will be able to enjoy the performing artists.

"UNTOLD brings a new first in the world of festivals as it supports children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders by creating a sensory room inside the Cluj Arena, a safe space for those who will come to the festival. In partnership with the Neuroatipic Foundation, UNTOLD is the first festival in Europe to create such a lodge, to be arranged with the help of the foundation's representatives. It will be a safe space for them to be able to play, watch the artists from the mainstage and go out into the stands of the stadium," organisers reported on Friday.

In addition, this year's UNTOLD lineup also includes BMike, a DJ diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, who will perform on the Tram stage.

"UNTOLD was created from the very beginning as a festival for everyone - a place where differences do not separate but unite through music and emotion. We believe that joy should not be conditioned. And access to life-changing experiences should have no barriers. That is why, in a symbolic moment - the 10th anniversary - we launch, together with the Neuroatipic Foundation, the first sensory space in Europe in a festival. It is a safe space, dedicated to children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders, which will allow them to experience the magic of UNTOLD in their own way, at their own pace. It's a natural step for a brand that has always understood that not only the stage matters, but also the people in front of it," according to Edy Chereji, co-founder of UNTOLD Universe.

The Neuroatipic Foundation aims to create an inclusive environment that responds to the diversity of the needs of neuroatypical children and young people, by offering costumised spaces and development programmes, providing specialised educational programmes for parents and facilitators, and implementing social awareness programmes.

"We are very happy about the partnership with UNTOLD, and this collaboration is another step towards inclusion, a new opportunity that we want as many children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders as possible to take advantage of. And those who are diagnosed with autism or ADHD have the same right to joy, culture, and belonging as anyone else. When we give them safe access to a festival like UNTOLD, the third largest festival in the world, we not only validate their presence, but also shape a future. Integration does not only mean letting them participate but also creating real conditions for them to live the experience - with meaning, comfort and dignity," according to Neuroatipic Foundation Chair Crina Nedelcu.

The UNTOLD Festival, which will take place between August 7-10 in Cluj-Napoca, has reached its tenth edition which lineup includes artists who are coming to Romania for the first time such as Post Malone, Metro Boomin, Anyma, Becky Hill, but also household names such as Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren, Dom Dolla, Fisher, Black Coffee and many others.
