The eco-voucher for electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles under the "Rabla 2025" programme will be worth 18,500 RON, according to the amendments stipulated in the Funding Guide submitted to public consultation by the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests (MMAP).
"The 'Rabla' programme is not just about replacing an old car, but remains an important tool through which citizens take real steps toward cleaner air. The eco-voucher for electric vehicles has been adjusted, but this decision allows us, given the current budget conditions, to offer support to as many Romanians as possible again this year. At the same time, we are working to build a more stable and sustainable funding framework in the future by integrating this programme into the Social Climate Fund. The goal remains the same: less pollution and a gradual shift toward clean mobility in Romania," Minister of Environment, Waters and Forests Diana Buzoianu stated, according to a release sent to AGERPRES on Friday.
According to the Ministry, the most significant change targets the value of the eco-voucher for electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, which will be worth 18,500 RON, a support granted to individuals seeking to purchase non-polluting cars through the Environment Fund Administration (AFM).
For other types of vehicles, the eco-voucher values remain unchanged: 15,000 RON for the purchase of a new plug-in hybrid vehicle or electric motorcycle; 12,000 RON for a new hybrid vehicle; and 10,000 RON for a new vehicle with a combustion engine (including LPG/CNG) or motorcycle.
