General consolidated budget arrears increase 7.6% in April 2021

The arrears of the general consolidated budget increased by 7.6% in April 2021, to 278.94 million lei, from 259.21 million lei in March, according to the data published on the Public Finance Ministry's (MFP) website.
Arrears over 90 days increased by 11.6%, from 84.9 million lei to 94.8 million lei. Arrears of over 120 days increased by 5.33%, from 91.8 million lei in March to 96.7 million lei in April, and those over 360 days increased by 6.06%, reaching 87.5 million lei, from 82.5 million lei.
In local budgets, arrears increased by 7.4%, from 236.74 million lei in March to 254.39 million lei in April 2021. Debts over 90 days increased by 8.2%, at 88.3 million lei, those over 120 days by 6.4%, to 90.3 million lei, and those over 360 days increased by 7.5%, to 75.7 million lei.
In the chapter 'state and autonomous budget', arrears increased from 22.47 million lei in March to 24.55 million lei in April (plus 9.2%). Those over 90 days increased by 93.9%, to 6.4 million lei, arrears of over 120 days decreased by 8.57%, to 6.4 million lei, and those over 360 days registered a decline of 2.48%, reaching 11.8 million lei.
