National chairman of the National Liberal Party (PNL) Florin Citu said on Friday, regarding the possible exclusion from the party of Ludovic Orban, that it will be an internal decision, adding that any member of the PNL who violates the party statutes has to bear the consequences.
He was asked if Ludovic Orban would be expelled from PNL.
"It is the party's decision. There will be a discussion. I will speak within the party. (...) It is not about the person of Mr Ludovic Orban; any member of PNL who violates the statutes has to bear the consequences," Citu said at the Parliament House before a meeting of the PNL Executive Bureau (BEx).
According to him, Orban having left the PNL parliamentary group is not the violation of the statutes.
Asked about the article in the PNL statutes violated by Orban, the PNL national leader said: "The same ones that Catarama violated when he was expelled from the PNL by Ludovic Orban and Daniel Zamfir.
