Bucharest stocks higher on Thursday's session opening

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday's session with increases on most indices, with turnover reaching 8.76 million lei (1.76 million euros) 30 minutes after the start of trading.

The main index, BET, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.52%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks on the BVB, posted a 0.51% increase.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.37%, while the investment fund return benchmark, BET-BK, appreciated 0.20%.

The BET-FI index of the SIFs recorded an increase of 0.59%, and the BET-NG index, which tracks the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sectors, showed an advance of 0.45%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was up 0.02%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in share prices were registered by Sinteza (+7.27%), Ropharma (+6%), and Comelf (+3.66%).

On the other hand, the shares of Infinity Capital Investments (-2.12%), Armatura (-1.74%), and One United Properties (-1.68%) were in decline.
