Bucharest Stock Exchange Opens Week with Gains on Key Indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday's session with gains on almost all indices, the total value of transactions amounting to 2.5 M RON (511,657 euros) 30 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, inched 0.23%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, also recording an advance, of 0.22%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was up by 0.04%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, increased by 0.17%.
At the same time, the BET-FI index of SIFs saw a decrease of 1.33%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased 0.06%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 0.07%.
According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by the companies Sinteza (+14.93%), Romcab (+14.89%) and Condmag (+11.11%).
On the other hand, the shares of SSIF BRK Financial Group (-2.89%), Lion Capital (-2.08%) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (-1.79%) were decreasing. AGERPRES
