Bucharest Stock Exchange opens week with gains across all indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher on all indices in the first session of this week, with the value of transactions standing at RON 57.857 million (EUR 11.504 million).
The BET index, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.94% to 18,562.78 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Stock Exchange, closed up 0.90%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 1.04%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose by 1.42%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund returns, rose by 1.21%, and BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utility companies, closed 0.72% higher.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed up 0.61%.
The most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of RON 15.062 million, followed by the shares of Societatea Energetica Electrica, with RON 6.905 million, and Hidroelectrica, with over RON 6.2 million.
The best performances were recorded by the shares of Fondul Deschis de Investitii Globinvest Energy&Finance (+8.14%), Santierul Naval Orsova (+5.15%) and MedLife (+4.39%).
Conversely, the most significant declines were recorded by Sinteza (-5.97%), Romcab (-5.67%) and Carbochim (-3.86%) shares. AGERPRES
