Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Tuesday's trading session in the red

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session lower and 58.25 million RON (11.71 million EUR) worth of transactions.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, decreased 0.55% to 17,155.99 points, while the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares registered a 0.56% decline.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.57% lower, while the BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies went down 0.36%.
The return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK closed the trading session 0.89% down, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG registered a 0.10% decline.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market decreased 0.50%.
The most liquid shares on the Regulated Market were those of Banca Transilvania - 10.05 million RON, followed by the shares of OMV Petrom, with transactions amounting to 4.14 million RON, and of Hidroelectrica - 1.71 million RON.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Casa de Bucovina - Club de Munte (+5.07%), Santierul Naval Orsova (+2.90%) and Rompetrol Well Services (+1.69%).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Comelf (-9.06%), Artego (-7.32%) and Farmaceutica Remedia (-4.99%). AGERPRES
