Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower on most indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Monday's session lower on most indices, and the total value of transactions amounted to approximately 72.9 million RON (14.6 million euros).
The most liquid shares on the regulated market were those of Banca Transilvania, with exchanges of approximately 12.9 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 11.7 million RON, and Romgaz - 4.9 million RON.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.82%, to 17,463.72 points.
The BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed down 0.79%, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.66%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, gained 0.10%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, fell 0.79%, while the BET-NG, which tracks the performance of the ten energy and utilities companies, closed down 0.81%.
The BET AeRO index, which tracks 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, gained 0.61%.
The best performers were Armatura (+15%), Electrocontact (+10%) and Comelf (+6.44%).
On the other hand, the most significant declines were recorded by the shares of UCM Resita (-5.04%), Compa (-3.67%) and Electrica (-3.65%). AGERPRES
