Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher, BET index up 0.31%

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Tuesday's trading session with most indices moving up and RON 60.656 million (EUR 12.193 million) worth of transactions.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, rose 0.31 percent to 17,030.21 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares gained 0.28 percent.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.34 percent higher, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK gained 0.39 percent.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies picked up 0.35 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG inched up 0.50 percentage points.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market dipped 0.56 percent.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were BRD - Groupe Societe Generale with RON 14.986 million worth of trading, followed by Romgaz which generated trades worth RON 6.366 million, and Banca Transilvania with RON 5.957 million.
According to BVB, the best performing issuers were Romcab (+14.82 percent), AETA (+14.38 percent), and Napoca Construction Company (+13.97 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Comelf (-13.08 percent), Mecanica Fina(-12.86 percent), and Compa (-5.41 percent. AGERPRES
